Petrópolis, located in the northern part of Rio de Janeiro, is a mountainous region that you’ll surely enjoy. The Historic Center boasts many historical buildings. On Koeler Avenue, take a look at Casa da Princesa Isabel, Solar Dom Afonso, and the neogothic French-style São Pedro de Alcântara Cathedral.
You can also explore the National Park of Serra dos Órgãos and enjoy the amazing Bromeliads Circuit. Additionally, there are several trails like Véu da Noiva and Morro Açú. A visit to the Bohemia Brewery is another must-see attraction.
